COLLECTED PI

PI encompasses data pertaining to a recognizable living individual and, where applicable, a discernible legal entity. This includes, but is not limited to, information regarding race, gender, marital status, vehicle information, make model, information on vehicle parts, and any information provided while interacting with us or our systems through designated communication channels. The PI we collect is contingent upon:
  - The specific transaction you are engaged in.
  - The purpose for which you are communicating with us.

PI does not encompass:

WHY COLLECT PI

Processing involves the collection of your PI, its disclosure as outlined in clause 7 below, and its combination with other personal information. We collect and process your PI for the following purposes:

  - Retention of the PI is mandated or authorized by law.
  - You have given your consent to retain the PI.

We will securely delete or destroy PI that we are no longer required to retain or for which we do not have your consent.

DISCLOSING PI

We may provide access to or share some of your PI, as needed and for the purposes for which it was collected, with:

  1. Our associates, other divisions, or companies within our group of companies, to offer joint content and services, such as transaction registration and customer support, and to help detect and prevent potential illegal activities and policy violations.

  2. Merchandise suppliers, service providers, auditors, consultants, and agents under contract to process your PI or provide services to us, including product deliveries and returns, email services, analytics, distribution, courier services, information hosting, communication services, development and administration, information technology and related infrastructure services, technical support, and other support services related to our legitimate business interests and contractual obligations to you.

  3. Credit bureaus, as permitted by law, for reporting account information; and banking partners as required by credit card association rules.

Change of Ownership
We may share PI with third parties in the event of a reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other type of sale involving all or part of our business, assets, or stock.

Regulators and Law Enforcement
We may provide access to or share your PI when required by law, court order, or other legal reasons.

No Selling
We will not sell your PI. Your PI will not be disclosed to anyone except as described in this Policy.

SECURING PI

We take the security of PI seriously and strive to comply with applicable data protection laws. We ensure the integrity and confidentiality of your PI in our possession and under our control through reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent loss, damage, unauthorized destruction, unlawful access, or unlawful processing of your PI. Access to PI is authorized only for employees who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities. In doing so, we adhere to generally accepted industry information security practices and procedures.

YOUR RIGHTS

As a data subject, you have the following rights regarding your PI that we process:

  - You may inquire from us (at no cost) whether we hold your PI (we will provide this information when you provide adequate proof of your identity).
  - You may request the correction or deletion of your PI when necessary.
  - You have the right to object to, restrict, or limit the processing of your PI.
  - You can object to the use of your PI for direct marketing purposes.

If we have reasonable doubt about the identity of the person making an inquiry, we may request additional information to confirm their identity.

We will review your concerns and attempt to address any complaints regarding the protection of PI outlined in this Policy and in accordance with applicable law. You are also free to involve any external dispute resolution bodies.

We may update or modify our Policy periodically, and we will inform you of any significant changes to this Policy using the usual Channels of communication.
