About the Exhouse Resonator
The Exhouse Performance Parts resonator is an acoustic tuning component fitted in line with your exhaust system. Its job is to remove the low frequency drone that a muffler on its own cannot deal with, the kind that builds up at cruising revs and makes long trips tiring.
How It Works
A resonator targets specific problem frequencies rather than reducing sound across the board. Sound waves entering the chamber are reflected back so that they cancel out the offending tones, which strips out the hum and buzz that carries into the cabin while leaving the character of your exhaust note intact. The result is a cleaner, more refined note without a noticeable drop in volume.
