Perforated pipe for straight-through exhaust builds
Perforated pipe is the core of any straight-through exhaust system. The punched holes let exhaust pulses expand outward into the surrounding packing material where the sound energy gets absorbed, while the centre bore stays wide open so gas flow is never interrupted. That is how you drop decibels without the power loss that comes with a baffled or chambered box.
Consistent perforation, straight seam
The hole pattern runs evenly across the full 2 metre length, so flow and sound behaviour stay predictable end to end. The seam is welded straight and true, which matters more than most people expect: a tube that runs true slides into a silencer shell or resonator casing without fighting you, centres properly for welding, and wraps neatly with fibreglass matting or steel wool.

Working with it
Cut to length with a bandsaw or an angle grinder and deburr both ends before welding. When packing a silencer, leave the perforation fully exposed and avoid compressing the matting too tightly against the holes, otherwise you choke the absorption and gain nothing.
