Description
The Oval Silencer 500mm is a universal rear back box designed for VW fitments where space under the rear is tight. The flatter oval body clears the chassis and subframe where a round silencer would sit too low, so you keep ground clearance without giving up muffler volume.
It runs a single 76mm inlet feeding twin 63mm outlets. The 76mm inlet keeps flow up on bigger or breathed-on setups, while the twin 63mm outlets give you that split rear-exit look that works well on a Golf or Polo without needing a full custom rear section.
At 500mm case length it strikes a balance between flow and tone. You get a fuller, deeper exhaust note than an OEM silencer, without the drone that comes from an underspecced box.
As a universal weld-in unit, your fitment centre can match it cleanly to your existing exhaust pipework. Built to handle daily driving, heat cycling and South African roads.
Suited to Golf, Polo and similar VW hatch applications.
